When did the passion for creativity appear? At the age of 6, my mother took me to a music school. Around the same time, a friend of our family elderly front -line soldier Pyotr Aleksandrovich, who every Saturday played at our house on the accordion, became very ill. He sold us his accordion, which brought from the defeated Berlin. Mom decided that now her dream is for her daughter to play harmony, could come true.

When did you understand that the game on the instrument can become your profession? When I studied at the university in the last courses, I began to compose music. I wanted these melodies to attract people, delight them. Our SNPZ helped to purchase an accordion and the first stage costume. We know that you are also a composer. In what style do you write? I really like to write music in the Latin-American style, I also like to compose Caucasian Lezginki.

I have a dream to write an album of Caucasian music. Some people think that this music is for people whose roots are from the Caucasus. But this is not so. At the end of each concert, I am interested in the audience that they are asking BIS and people, regardless of nationality, ask for Lezginka. Does this happen during the speeches that you forgot what chords need to be played?

There was such a case, the producer of the show “Minutes of Glory” called me and suggested participating in their competition. He asked if I could forget the text in the work so that there was a certain “performance”. The story ended with the fact that I refused to participate in the show, although the producer convinced that this was how they would remember me. And to go out and play perfectly, in his opinion, is not interesting.

What were the most interesting proposals for cooperation? There were meetings in Moscow with producers who offered promotion due to writing articles in the yellow press about novels with stars and so on. For this "pleasure" you also need to pay every month not small money. Each musician values ​​his instrument. Tell us about your own? There were many different accordions.

I made friends with the director of the Italian factory of Bugari accordion, Roberto Ottavianelli. In Russia, I have their instrument and Peter Drang. To understand how prestigious it is, I will give a comparison. It's like a Mercedes among cars. There is an interesting story related to the manufacture of my accordion. When he was almost ready, at that time I was on tour in Paris for a month, and it was more convenient for their dealer to bring him to Paris, and not to Moscow.

But it turned out that the master, who was supposed to make a drawing on the case and decorate with stones, had not yet done anything, since he was waiting for inspiration. As a result, it came to him only three months later. But he did a great job. The accordion always impress people. Were there any extraordinary actions from the audience during performances?

There was a funny case when in the middle of the solo concert of Sergei Lyubavin in Novosibirsk, I performed there among his musicians on stage, suddenly my cousin with flowers, with whom we have not seen about 10 years probably, came out onto the stage. He goes straight to me, takes me in his arms and begins to circle. Sergey Lyubavin is in shock. He thought that one of the spectators drank and needed to save me.

And he says to the microphone: "Comrade, leave our accordionist alone, you can’t behave like that with the artists." A little more and would call the guard, but the flowers were already donated, I was put on the ground. As if already there is no precedent. Do you have idols?

Unfortunately, he is no longer alive. We were introduced to common friends. And he immediately greatly appreciated my performing style. He says about me: “This artist will certainly conquer the world! I don’t know why he said these words, but I wrote them down. I could not imagine that the student listened to cassettes with his records, and years later, I would speak with him on the same stage.

What was the most unusual? I had to play several times even abroad for the presidents on corporate parties. There was another memorable event at which I was invited to speak. Everything happened for Russian businessmen on New Year's Eve in Italy. At the festival, the BI group performed one of the guests so inspired by the performances of the artists that he decided to invite 33 Russian music groups, including me, and for three days of celebration to listen to them on his summer birthday.

These are the eccentricities of the birthday.
