Biography Natalya Lebedeva

The sports career of everyone is valuable in its own way. The time in sports flies rapidly and is compressed to minutes and seconds of the brightest sports moments. In sports, everything changes quickly, and the names of the Champions, the famous coaches, the current generation of skaters learn from books, by the name of tournaments - memorials in memory of them, and sometimes does not think that people who were nearby also wrote the history of sports.

The two -time champion of the USSR, the winner of the championships of the Soviet Union, a two -time silver medalist of the European Championships,, a participant in five world championships. Lebedeva was the last Soviet skater who won a small gold medal at the European Championship for the victory at the School. Her biography is part of our history, we want to tell about unforgettable moments.

In Zaporozhye, where Natasha lived with her parents then, near the city, there was a stud farm, and her mother even agreed on her daughter’s activities, but knew all her horses by name. And she herself learned to ride on horseback. When I moved to Moscow, I bought a subscription at the hippodrome, went to do there. If possible, I watched jumps, running. I remember in Zagreb, when we were at the assembly, and the hippodrome there was next to the roller, literally across the road, I just went to look at the horses.

I don’t know how my sports life would have been formed if the ice palace was not built in Zaporozhye, and my mother did not see the skaters on TV. She liked it, and this largely predetermined my future life. Then a set of children was announced at the rink, and my mother reasoned that it would be better if we recorded we will go with dad. My mother was short, tight physique.

Dad is slightly higher, thin, and coaches usually look at their parents. Better go with dad, ”my mother advised and was right. They took me and almost on the very first day put on skates. I changed the horses to skates. I started to train with them. Two years later, having worked out, the Rogatskins decided to return to Sverdlovsk, they invited several students, among whom I was.

Mom then asked: “Do you want to engage in figure skating? Will you go to Sverdlovsk with a coach? In Sverdlovsk there was a boarding school where the guys lived, studied, trained. They took there from the fourth grade, I studied in the third. And the year when she moved from Zaporozhye, she lived at home with a coach, they allocated a separate room to me. They treated my wife as a daughter.

They understood that one, without parents, is more difficult for me than the other. The Lokomotiv rink, where we trained, was in the courtyard of our house. I went down from the third floor and after 20 meters the entrance ... A year later I was accepted into the boarding school. We began to ride on Youth. There was a special bus that took the skaters, skaters and swimmers. The rinks and pool were nearby.

On Saturdays and Sundays, when there were no ice training, we ran into the gymnastics hall - we smoked, jumped, “cigked” into the foam plas, we were spinning a somersault, we mastered a double axel ... In Sverdlovsk, I met many skaters who later became famous - Stas Leonovich, Marat Akbarov, Marina Pestova ... Alla Shekhovtsova also trained in Sverdlovsk. She was engaged in dancing.

I then concentrated on solitary skating. Dancing was not particularly interested in me. I avoided paired skating, although I was set in a couple several times. And in the summer at the training camp I even tried some paired elements. Stas Leonovich made support with me, threw me away. Sergei Korovin, he rode paired with Anya Malgina on ice taught Todes, crossings in a circle, forward, back ...

But it was more as an experiment, because I was not going to leave the single. In the fifth grade, I jumped a hollow - a double axel, mastered a triple sheepskin coat. Salkhov, sometimes turned out to be a triple rittberger. I did not fulfill all the triple ones, because the time was different. We rolled three types in competitions. There were also compulsory figures-the “school”, which was good for me, and I was always somewhere upstairs or in the winners.

Then she purely executed the short program, again was upstairs. And this was enough to get into the winners after arbitrary. At that time, some girls already jumped all triple, I did not. Nevertheless, I competed with them and beat them ... I trained until the 8th grade at Rogatskin, and all the time that I lived without parents did not feel lonely. Coaches, everyone supported me. In the boarding school there was a phone on the watch, and on Saturdays my mother called me.

When I didn’t go well, I complained: “Oh, mom, everything is bad, take me from here, nothing happens.” And mom: "Okay, I went to buy a plane ticket." The next conversation was only a week later, and these days the situation changed. And mom in a calm voice: “Okay, I went to take a ticket” ... On vacation I went home, to Zaporozhye. Mom was very proud of me, tried to show me all my friends.

I was embarrassed, hid behind the kiosks if we walked along the street or pretended to have nothing to do with it, and my mother said: “Here is my daughter, skater, she is shown on TV.”At such moments, I felt awkward, it was even somehow ashamed: why am I, because they show everyone? When the demonstration’s demonstrations were held in Zaporozhye, my mother claimed that my name was at the poster.

I was surprised because this could not be. Together with my mother, we approached the poster, where it was written in capital letters - Bestemyanova, Bukin, Bobrin ... and others. Mom pointed to the word “others” and said: “Here are others - it's you. So, your last name is. ” Mom was an amazing person. She was born in Sumy. Dad was from Volgograd. They met at the Komsomol construction site.

Funny met. The builders lived then in tents, and the mother was settled as a Komsomol worker in the house with the mistress, and the pig fled at that. They grabbed, began to look. Mom opened the window, called: “Borka, Borka! And under the window sat a young man with a balalaika and asked: “Girl, you are me? Physics, mathematics, drawing, geometry were easily given to me. I thought to enter the physical and mathematics class.

Such a school was in Zaporozhye, and my mother found out that for admission to the institute, senior classes need to be unlearned there. In Sverdlovsk, I passed the last exams for the 8th grade, there was the end of the season. And then a figurist is running into the hostel, finds me and says: “There Xenophontov returned, asks:“ Where is the skater who has not yet learned anything, but already decided to finish with figure skating?

Let him come to the ice. " And I went. For a while I was no longer rode, so I missed training. I come, I see xenophores with some little boy on the ice, and Igor Borisovich tells him: “Let's make a spinning throat forward.” The boy does. Xenophonov turns to me: "Try you." I'm doing it. He is further to the boy: "Make a top, just remove your hands down." I try and fall.

In general, Xenophonov gave the boy different tasks, he coped, but I did not succeed. In short, Xenophontov took me weakly, they say, you still have not learned anything, but you are going to quit. I was overwhelmed, I wanted to prove that I could do something. So I got to the coach Igor Borisovich Ksenofontov and began to train with him. Xenophonov was an educated, very gifted person.

From a professor’s family, his father was associated with metallurgy. By and large, Igor Borisovich himself was never a skater. He was engaged in water polo.
