All the time, education is catching up with reality: actions begin in some direction, then self-education, and then covers the need to learn this systematically. Everything else is written on my face, from the author. The texts of the artists were created for the scene: before the lectures, the actor read them on behalf of the character, and so the images created by the word were obtained.
But the story with a creative association in which the genre existed ended badly. For me - psychiatry. When I left there, there was already a young growth of lecturers who could continue to tell on “my” topics about the same artists. I was engaged in their training. I said: “Guys, I'm leaving. You have my texts, you can continue to use them. Just let's agree on the royalties that I will receive for this.
” The actor who read these texts and played a big role in the fact that I got into psychiatry, said: “What are these royalties? You do not have copyright to these texts. ” I phoned the lawyers who explained to me that he would bluff. Nevertheless, our legislation in this territory is very weak. You can run around the instances for a year and arrange copyright to your texts.
You will design, and then someone will change two words in this text. And according to the law, this will be a new text. The best way to protect the text is to publish a book, because the book is a public statement: it exists, it is yours. This story gave birth to me to publish texts in order to protect them. A lot were invested in them. I invested not only time, energy, but also my soul.
The book has the words of Van Gogh from his letters: "My work cost me half of my mind." In my case, this was also true. Such texts should live, they should have a reader. And they lay in the table, and even the creative association that used them closed. The need to protect them, on the one hand, and the desire to release them as children, to the will and give them life, on the other hand, gave rise to the idea of writing a book.
And work from the formation of the concept of the book, its format before the end took place on the course of Irina Gusinskaya. But by the time I came there, I already had a stack of texts. From the texts it was possible to make a book, but each of them lived and existed in the context of a lecture. So we created the emotional connection of the viewer with the character, with the hero of the lecture, with the artist.
In the era of colossal volumes of information consumed by man, this is especially true. For the brain, everything is a unit of information, it does not matter what it is: a post on Facebook, an article about neuronac, a book or an inscription on the air freshener, - the brain consumes them equally. In these conditions, one information is constantly washed out by another.
Therefore, we forget quite important and interesting things, but for some reason we remember the name of the familiar cat from Facebook. So that there is not a cat in my head, but really valuable and important knowledge, you need emotional involvement. The foundation is laid in the heart for the fact that it remains in the head. If it is not, then the necessary facts are washed with the following stream of any information.
I wrote those texts to create an emotional foundation, and then put information on it in a lecture format. Therefore, just publishing a collection of those texts would be strange. It was important to create a new context so that a lecture was not needed. Did you choose among many or someone advised? I do not spend tenders. People around say that it is necessary to spend a tender, it is time to be a serious and adult, to think where you are investing, etc.
But ... I decided - that's all. A few years ago, when I still did not have an urgent need to create a book, I went to the writer's course. More precisely, it was an open meeting with the aim of selling a writing course. The course led the authors. And I very clearly understood at the meeting that this is the wrong format, this is a private experience. If it works for me, it does not mean at all that you will work.
Because you have the stars that came together, you are so arranged, etc. I realized that the author’s course is not that. And she stopped looking. Then I had a lot of things in my personal life, and in professional, and with money it was, to put it mildly, not as good as we would like. But I had a passive need to write a book, because I understood that there are texts, I had to do something with them, somewhere during the year I should do this.
And suddenly on Facebook I saw an ad: Irina announced her free webinar. And I noticed the key things for me: a person talks about how to make your book from a distance, from the position of the publisher, and not the author, analyzing the experience of hundreds of authors who went through its publisher. And I went to this free webinar. At the end, there was a link to the course and a time -limited discount for those who want to buy a whole course.
And I bought it. More precisely, somewhere for two days I agreed with the toad, because ... there are priority needs for expenses.And even at a discount, it was a rather big amount. The price per course is justified. It was clear to me. She was even low because this is the first stream. And on its own, in isolation from everything, the amount is serious. But I was immediately hooked by both Irina and the course.
There was an understanding of what I needed there.
And not a year later, as I planned, but now. And as a result, I got to the first stream. There was a promise declared in the description of the course: you will create a synopsis and send it to the publishers. Perhaps you will have time to get answers from publishers. But you will have at least synopsis, at a maximum - the text of the book. And all the promised was done.
Nothing beyond what was promised and stated, I did not expect. It was necessary to find time. For three months, almost all the time went to work with the book. Although the rest of the load has not gone anywhere, it has gone less. There were probably two main difficulties. One of them is the search for the name. They carried out a session of non -carnation, and work in groups, and many other things were dedicated to the search for the name.
But it was not. That is, in all nonsense, with all the options it was clear that they were not that. As a result, we limited ourselves to the working name there is such an option in the synopsis: you write that this is a working name, it can be changed. A few months later, the course ended and the agreement was signed with the publishing house ... And the name appeared a few days before the book went into the seal.
That is, the date of presentation and print was already set, the layout was developed, but there was no name. I wrote to my friends: “You heard these texts, you know me, format, the content of the book ... What is it called? And the second difficulty was that my original application was not related to my ready -made texts. I decided that no one would publish a kind of, because the format is not quite documentary: it seems like non-fiction, but flirts with fiction.
It will be more difficult to pack, it is more difficult to sell, and not a single normal publisher will take on this. Therefore, we must start with something understandable, and then, in a couple of years, to do this with the second book. And somewhere closer to the end of the first module of the course, I broke through, I decided: "Now I will redo everything." And in one evening she completely rewrote the synopsis, which was almost ready in the first, completely different book.
And Sinopsis sent to Irina with an example of the author’s text. I suddenly realized that if I wait with these texts and I will go along the path of samizdat, then they will see my book when I retire. I needed a publishing house, and I was not left in my inner alarm that I would not find it. The specifics of this book is also that there is a colossal volume of work with sources.
