Farid Aliyev Biography
At the Bulbul International Competition in Baku, I was awarded the title of diploma for participating in the first round with the Azerbaijani folk song “Galala”, then I became a member of the same competition of Vocalists named after Obraztsova in Moscow-this was my first performance outside of Azerbaijan and later in St. Petersburg. So the competition named after V. Kurochkin became the fourth for me.
And this kind of competition is also important in that they give the artist the opportunity to present their country at the international level and get acquainted with the pupils of various schools. How did the rest of the contestants and organizers perceive you? The attitude towards me changed after my performance in the first round. I noticed that everyone immediately began to say hello to me, to some extent even careful with me, and in the end the organizing committee did not want to let me go at all.
In general, I want to note that all this cultural project was organized at the highest level, starting from the meeting of the participants at the airport, their hotel accommodation and before the winners in the morning air of regional television. Moreover, I noticed that the actors are very guarded in this city, they are doing everything possible to popularize them, etc.
As for my participation in this competition, it became possible only thanks to the support of the leadership of my theaters. Is it easy for you to combine opera and opereta genres? The fact is that the artist on the stage of the opera Theater is too statistical - all the attention goes to how you fulfill your party. And here is the experience of working at the Musical Comedy Theater, whose soloist I became, while still a second -year student, I was very useful.
In the Museum of Museum of Museum, I replayed a huge number of roles, began with children's performances, which helped me a lot to relax, reveal my acting potential. By the way, in parallel, I worked in this theater and a decorator artist, since my first specialty is an artist. And in the year I entered the vocal department of the Baku Music Academy and, fortunately, ended up in the classroom of a wonderful teacher, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, Professor Huseyn Aliyev, who raised many of our professional vocalists and with whom I continue to study to this day so as not to lose their form.
Without exaggeration, I can say that without his help, I, of course, would not have become the winner of the competition in Yekaterinburg. You won’t believe it, but when I performed the ASSKAR ARSHINA ARSHINA Alan, Uzeira Gadzhybekov, at a gala concert, the whole hall sang me, the success was colossal. And then I involuntarily thought that this aria became my talisman. And in general, Uzeirbek's work for many decades has served as a kind of talisman for all our art.
You just think how many actors, vocalists, directors, artists, turning to his works, sought international recognition! I want to tell an interesting episode: in the troupe of the Yekaterinburg Operetta Theater, I met a radical Bakuinz, a former actor of our Muzcomedia Theater Anatoly Brodsky, he left Baku half a century ago, but remembers the soloists of our theater - the people's artists of Azerbaijan Boris Grafkin, the late Larisa Vinogradov.
He told me a lot of interesting things about how in his youth he performed as part of the pop orchestra of the Baku Club of Sailors along with the late Muslim Magomaev. After my victory at the competition, congratulating me, Brodsky said such words: "Finally, I was able to prove the local public that the true Baku can only be like that -" came, performed and fascinated everyone.
" Yes, I almost forgot! A week before the competition in Yekaterinburg, the official opening of the Azerbaijani consulate took place, in which I also took part. So imagine - almost all our compatriots living in this city came to my concert, and the initiator was the same Anatoly Brodsky. I was offered to conclude a contract for the future theater season by the director of the Odessa Academic Comedy Theater named after M.
I received an invitation from the leadership of the Musical Theater of Karelia, on the stage of which in October this year they want to put opera Giuseppe Verdi, in which I was offered a party of Alfred, which is especially interesting. I don’t want to refuse - now I think how to correlate it with work in my native theater. What do you think? I am just very glad that I was able to adequately imagine my team, my country in the international arena.
I think that the understanding of my own demand in both theaters will be decisive to me.
