Biography of Lats

The author of two books is “Myths about Russia. From Grozny to Putin ”and“ Putin Russia as it is ”. Recently, an independent policy in Eastern Europe was needed in the conference of “France”, which was held at the Paris Headquarters of the Red Procedure Party “Union for the Popular Movement”. Immediately after the event, Alexander answered our questions. Latsa: I have a “French-Russian” wife, who decided from France, where she lived since the age of twelve, to return to Russia.

In addition, I wanted to settle in a country with a dynamic economy and good prospects. Finally, since the war in Serbia, I have been watching with special attention the Orthodox world, in particular the Russians, and I feel the need to live in another, not Western society. Latsa: Simple enough. Moscow is a completely modern, Western city in which a European is very easy to integrate.

For me, the Frenchman and the southerner, the climate remains the main problem. And as an entrepreneur - bureaucracy, in my opinion, is excessive and archaic. Latsa: Undoubtedly. She helped me to figure out in many ways and quickly feel at ease in Russia and with the Russians. After all, you were baptized in Karelia with a French priest-a descendant of white emigrants.

Latsa: My baptism in the year completed the path that had begun ten years ago in Serbia when I first ended up on Orthodox land. The choice of Karelia was a pure accident, for there, again, by chance, I met with Father Nikolai Ozolin, the Frenchman and the Russians. Latsa: I hope. It is better to ask Russians about this. The Frenchman, who lives in Russia for a long time, primarily gives a crack so -called political correctness.

You begin to say much more often what you really think, and not what they expect from you. Latsa: Yes, in my opinion, women dominate in Russian families. I would even say that they are authoritarian. Maybe this is due to quick emancipation - from the point of view of gaining rights - a Russian woman at the beginning of the last century? What is it in the eyes of foreigners?

Latsa: First of all, the manifestation of Russian irrationality. He loves Russians and considers the indifference of one of the national Russian features that help to overcome life's hardships. Latsa: I agree. Especially with regard to Siberia! Geography and climate make Russia a country where they have to fight for survival. A certain carelessness of character facilitates this process.

Latsa: I am leading two firms for the selection of personnel. The first helps companies, mainly French, find qualified specialists in Russia. The second is engaged in hiring foreign tutrans for children from wealthy Russian families. Bureaucrats "got"? Latsa: A big plus of Russia is that here you never miss. Bureaucracy is a really heavy load. I regret that life in Moscow is becoming more expensive.

However, she is not cheaper anywhere. Some arrived to work. Others are here because they love the Russian world, are interested in them. Do they suffer from sanctions, Russian and Western? Latsa: A thousand two hundred. In total, seven thousand French companies work with Russia. This is a lot. Of course, all of them are wondering about their future and how events will develop further.

Latsa: Not yet. Our clients remain in Russia, and we encourage them in this in every possible way! Latsa: Oysters in Russia are expensive. I eat them when I go to France. As for Kamamber, we will somehow survive this “tragedy”. I hope mutual sanctions will soon be canceled. Latsa: Of course, France. It is illogical to apply sanctions in relation to your own export. To top it off, we would have appeared before the world as unreliable suppliers, and our potential customers would begin to turn to other manufacturers.

In addition, Russians will perfectly master this type of technology in a few years. Let me remind you that the pressure on France so that it refuses the supply of Mistrals, comes from Washington through Brussels. Which of the myths are the most tenacious? Latsa: They are full. For example, they argue that in Russia a poor demographic situation, that corruption interferes with working, that the type of current Russian state is a dictatorship.

Or that it is an unreliable gas supplier. That all Russian girls ... and so are the stereotypes associated with the Russians have existed for a long time. Since French journalists lack their own ideas, it is easier for them to repeat the same stories. Latsa: Yes, this is very important. For Russia to look attractive, Europe must have the right performance about it.

For this, the Russian Federation needs to protect its image abroad and especially in Europe. Success in the information battle is also important in order for Russia to appear as an alternative to the American model. Nothing has changed since then? Latsa: Unfortunately, if it has changed, then for the worse. The information war with the use of the latest technologies is even more acute than before.

Latsa: I created it seven years ago to talk about Russia and show your country not what it is represented in the West. The blog speaks first of all about attacks on the part of the false media, about geopolitics, about relations between the East and the West, about the internal problems of Russia. The monthly audience "dissonance" is about 15 people. Its materials receive wide walking on the network and, for example, are even used as a source for Wikipedia.

The colossal success for the blog, which is led by one person. Latsa: So it is. A mixture of prejudices, pseudo -codes, misunderstanding is presented. At the same time, French journalists are at the tip of the misinformation campaign. This is because your country is changing too quickly for them ... My friend Xavier Moro is a French businessman and an analyst living in Russia. Not everyone believes what the French press tells?

Latsa: The French are victims of propaganda, expanded by the overwhelming majority of the mainstream media. They inspire that the Ukrainian people parted with their political leader to join the free Western world. And Russia, they say, is trying to win Ukrainians. Events in Ukraine are the object of manipulation and lies. All this does not honor either the French press or most analysts who wrote for many months - believe me, I weigh my words - monstrous nonsense.

Latsa: It seems to me that this is an important question for the Russians themselves. For the French, undoubtedly Russians are part of Europe, for many Americans the Orthodox world is completely separated from Western Europe. I think that Russia is a European country to the same extent as the Euro -Asian, depending on what the point is to invest in these concepts.

What does it mean to be today?

Biography of Lats

Latsa: To believe that France is a strong enough power to be sovereign, independent, to pursue a policy that meets national interests. To consider that the head of state should have the corresponding scale of the personality and understand the needs of his country. Lats: the process of eliminating the Hollyist structures and concepts is carried out consciously.

This is due to the fact that the policy of General de Gaulle opposed the transformation of Europe into an obedient partner, who became not only subordinates - through NATO - an ally, but also the most important privileged market for the United States. On the contrary, the revival of Europe means a return to the concept of sovereign and independent states - nations. Such Europe will be able to conclude strategic partnership with Russia.

Latsa: Of course. Such integration has been going on for more than half a century and has been covered by eastern Europe from a year. One of the manifestations of these processes, in my opinion, is the events in Ukraine. As for Brussels, the Fathers - the founders of the European Union were American agents, whether Robert Schuman or Jean Montne.
